At Happy Helpers, we clean deeply so you can rest easy. As a social enterprise cleaning company, we aim to un-mess the lives of busy Filipinos through reliable, on-demand professional cleaning services, while simultaneously transforming the lives of fellow Filipinos from marginalized communities.
In 2015, we started with a small team of five Happy Helpers from Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig and offered home cleaning services including our flagship Deep Cleaning Service in the Makati and Taguig areas. Since then, we have expanded our cleaning service offerings to include the Post Construction Cleaning Service, Move In & Move Out Cleaning Service, Aircon Cleaning Service, Hyla®️ Upholstery Cleaning Service, and Disinfection Services, and significantly grown our team of professional cleaners.
As we aim to continuously uplift Filipina women from various local communities, we are now focused on our next goal: To expand our service area coverage, and in doing so, make trusted cleaning services more accessible to Filipinos outside the Makati and Taguig areas. At present, we have three branches based in Taguig, Quezon City, and Muntinlupa, and a growing team of over 70 Happy Helpers.
Collaborating with the Daan Tubo Association in Quezon City
After almost seven years of primarily servicing the Taguig and Makati areas, we envisioned our next service area to be in northern Metro Manila, particularly, Quezon City, due to its numerous residential and commercial areas. In 2022, Happy Helpers was selected as one of the four social enterprise beneficiaries of the Ateneo Alumni Association's project, Ateneo Tulong Sulong, a livelihood and development program that transforms marginalized communities by connecting them with social enterprises - the latter of which will provide training and employment opportunities. Through the Ateneo Tulong Sulong, we were connected with the Daan Tubo Association, an Ateneo community based in Katipunan, from which we created a team composed of ten Happy Helpers.
Last June 7, 2022, we opened our second branch located along Katipunan Avenue, and started offering our house cleaning services to residential communities in Quezon City as well as commercial cleaning services to business establishments in the area.
Taking our cleaning services outside Metro Manila with our Muntinlupa Branch
Over the years, we have received numerous inquiries about servicing areas outside Metro Manila, particularly in Southern Luzon. However, due to heavy traffic and other logistical concerns, we could only cater to these homes and offices during the weekends. With the Quezon City branch celebrating its first anniversary in 2023, we set our sights on servicing areas outside Metro Manila next. We realized that due to the increasing cost of living in Metro Manila, bedroom communities in the areas of Cavite and Laguna (also referred to as Greater Metro Manila) have become more common, and these professionals may be too busy and too exhausted to find the time and energy to maintain a clean home. To help lessen their load, we decided to offer our house cleaning services in these highly residential areas as well.
On December 2, 2023, we opened our newest branch in Muntinlupa which caters to Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, and several areas in Cavite and Laguna, and welcomed our six new Happy Helpers who will pioneer the operations of our third branch.
Last January, we celebrated our ninth anniversary - to celebrate this momentous milestone, we gathered our growing team of Happy Helpers from all three branches in a 90’s themed kickoff party. We are definitely excited to continue providing our professional cleaning services this 2024!
